A German idea, grown in Bangladeshi soil
Bangladesh grows extraordinary raw material and exports very little of it as finished food. Our German partners knew the retail specifications; our Bangladeshi founders knew the farms, the recipes and the labour. Europial BD Limited is the company that sits between them.
We built the plant around export requirements rather than retro-fitting them: separated wet and dry lines, an in-house laboratory, documented CCPs, and a procurement model that contracts growers before the season begins.
Milestones
- Joint venture formed. German and Bangladeshi partners agree the company structure.
- Plant commissioned. Wet and dry lines built to export specification in Sonargaon, Narayanganj.
- BRCGS certified. First successful audit against the global standard.
- First export markets. Shipments to European and Middle Eastern buyers.
